ICE PICK ALE      (Alcohol By Volume)     ABV-6.8%
A drinkable, yet hoppy, traditional India Pale Ale in the British style.  This ale will not pucker your mouth, but will appeal to hop-heads simultaneously.  Dry-hopping yields a distinctive nose, followed by a balanced body, and a notable hoppy finish.  Malts are not ignored in this brew, merely subdued.

Bear-Ass Brown      ABV 4.2%                                        Our brown is an English mild and it features a low alcohol content and light hop usage. Being our least alcoholic beer and one of our least hopped beers, the Bear-Ass Brown is very true to style. It has a light amber hue accentuated by a lacy white head. One notices its clean, crisp malt profile that pleasantly lingers in your mouth and ever-so-slight hints of chocolate, biscuit, and caramel can be detected. High noon is high time to sit down and enjoy one of these tasty session beers. Whether you need a little nerve calmer before you drive over Red Mountain Pass, a little hydration before you hike a 14er, or just a beer before you get back on the train, this style will satisfy your needs without putting you over the edge.

COAL BANK STOUT    ABV  -9.8%
A hearty, robust brew, with a sweet, coffee-like palate.  Our  stout features a plethora of malts, including Roasted and Chocolate, resulting in a rich, black body.  Brown sugar and molasses provide additional flavor.  A low dosage of Chinook hops provides balance, while allowing the malts to shine in taste and aroma.

Inspired by the great Imperial Stouts of the Old World, this brew provides warmth during cold winter months.

RED MOUNTAIN ALE   ABV-6.5%
A traditional American Amber Ale designed to quench, not overwhelm.  Special Pale, Munich, Medium Crystal, Flaked, and Chocolate malts create a coppery color and a rich, almost creamy flavor profile.  Willamette and Chinook hops provide a mild nose, and balanced finish.

The red mountains of the mineral rich area in which we brew inspired this beer’s character.

SEASONAL  BREWS

WIT - ABV 5% IBU 22.5                                        A Belgian Wit beer brewed with coriander and orange peel. This unfiltered wheat beer features white wheat and pilsner malts which give it a distinctive white color and malt profile. Saaz hops and the aforementioned spices balance this beer with great aroma and flavor. It is the perfect beer for a blue bird summer day or just a powerful thirst.

Barley Legal Barley Wine      ABV-12%
Feeling the pressure of competition from continental wines, English brewers took beer to a new level: Barley Wine.  Many brewed ales that were essentially maltier, hoppier IPA’s.  We decided to explore the world of Stout.  The nearly excessive fermentation balances well with the bitter-sweet flavors of Roasted and Chocolate malts, a sensation reminiscent of quality red wine.

When brewed just below 12%, this beer barely avoids the legal title of “wine”.
