Red Mountain Ale

Red Mountain Ale is our interpretation of the Irish Red Ale. Balanced and smooth, this beer rides the line between malty and hoppy offering just enough of each. The generous use of Biscuit malt gives it a bready character different from most examples of the style. The beer is then balanced using Czech Saaz hops.

Munich Helles • 4.9% ABV
Gold Digger Lager is a traditional Munich-Style Helles lager, slightly "Americanized". Ours is very light gold in color, with a slightly sweet and malty flavor but a crisp finish. This crispness is achieved by balancing the malt sweetness with a larger-than-normal addition of Hallertauer hops.

This, the lightest-bodied of our seasonal beers, would be right at home in any taproom in Berlin. After the yeast has finished its job, a second, lactic acid fermentation is used to generate a distinctive sour character. Since 1810, breweries in Munich have celebrated the coming of fall by brewing big-bodied lagers, and throwing an even bigger party. Silverton Oktoberfest may not draw 7 million visitors, but our malty amber lager is true to the original. Three different Munich malts combine to produce a beer that is both exceptionally complex and incredibly smooth.
